What is the W.F.C.A. ?

The Welsh Federation of Coarse Anglers is the official Sporting Governing Body for Coarse Angling in Wales. And as such we are recognised by the Sports Council for Wales, Federation of Welsh Anglers, Welsh Tourist Board, The Welsh Assembly, Environment Agency, Local Authorities, JADB and many other Government Departments, angling clubs and associations and individual anglers.

Club member collects old, used, scratched, battered, tyreless, windowless cars, vans, lorries, buses, planes etc. from the Dinky Toy market, cash paid, if you have any of the above ring 0161-969 7475 for a quote.

Monton Tackle have opened an new shop in Eccles and have offered ADAC members 10% discount, so get down there and see what's on offer.

Mobberley Pool

John Deas has asked that we remind members that Mobberley Pool is still closed and will be for some months yet.

Some members have been turning up at the pool only to find it locked. We will advise members as soon as it is re-opened.

Night Fishing Stamp

At the clubs A.G.M. it was voted on and approved to increase the cost of our night fishing stamp from £10 to £15.

We understand that all monies raised by the will go to stocking our waters with new carp.

This price increase will take effect from 31st March.

Fish protection for Shepherd Pool
