Altrincham and district angling club was formed over fifty years ago during the days of the cane rod and early intrepid reels. Much has changed in the years that have followed with huge development in tackle technology, pressure on fish stocks, loss of habitats and of course the ever increasing pressure on ourselves. We firmly and honestly believe though that the fishing enjoyed during the formation of this club can still be had on the tranquil, under fished mere's, lakes, rivers and ponds controlled by it. |
